Whistler Contemporary Gallery is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting world-renowned artist, David Robinson, for an artist presentation at the Four Seasons Hotel in the downstairs lobby on Sunday, September 1st 2024. 

We welcome you for a cocktail reception with David Robinson followed by an artist presentation. He will share insight into what goes on behind the scenes and then open the floor to questions. 

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Robinson's striking sculptures incorporate a variety of materials ranging from bronze, steel and silver to concrete, mirror and paper. While his oeuvre is the figure, he often adds psychological and mythological twists to his subjects by situating them in environments that speak to the inherent tensions of human life.

These events are a rare and exciting opportunity to meet David Robinson in person!
