Known for creating mesmerizing kinetic sculptures that merge engineering, data, and fine art, BREAKFAST invites viewers to experience art in a completely different way. His works aren't screens or digital displays - they're physical sculptures made up of thousands of moving components, each choreographed to create constantly shifting compositions that seem almost alive.

At first glance, a BREAKFAST sculpture is captivating for its movement alone. Tiny individual elements glide, rotate, and ripple across the surface, creating hypnotic patterns that are impossible to ignore.

Many of his works are powered by invisible forces - human movement, environmental data, or personal memories - transforming information into beautiful mechanical motion. It's technology you don't simply look at; you experience it.

Where Art Meets Engineering

BREAKFAST is the artist name of Andrew Zolty, whose Brooklyn Navy Yard studio is home to a 17-person team of engineers, fabricators, industrial designers, and software developers.  

Every sculpture is conceived, engineered, programmed, and assembled entirely in-house. Custom electronics, proprietary software, precision mechanics, and meticulous craftsmanship all work together to create pieces unlike anything else in contemporary art.  

While the technology is extraordinary, it never overshadows the artwork. Instead, it quietly disappears, leaving behind something that feels almost magical.

A Global Presence

Over the past fifteen years, BREAKFAST has created more than 250 works installed across 12 countries, with exhibitions and commissions spanning the Venice Biennale, Frieze London, Art Dubai, Rockefeller Center, Tiffany & Co., Harvard University, and Christie's.  

Now, we're thrilled to introduce his work to collectors at Whistler Contemporary Gallery.
